VTC Libraries Notebook Computers Loans

Libraries provide students with Notebook computers that can be checked out at Library Circulation Counter. All Notebook computers are installed with Microsoft Office applications. Some LRCs may have special software installed for specific academic needs, please refer to individual library for details. Notebook computers are available for short-term loan.

Students and staff members can borrow Notebook computers from the respective campus library. Borrowers only need to present a valid student or staff card to borrow daily loan Notebook computer. Borrowers should return the notebook computers before the library closes on the same day. An overdue fine of $100 per day is required for overdue returns, with a maximum fine of $500. Any loan that has reached a maximum overdue fine will be assumed lost. The borrower will have to pay for a replacement cost plus HK$50 processing cost and any overdue fine accrued.

In addition, students with financial needs may apply for long-term notebook loan through Notebook Computer Loan Scheme, please approach your campus library staff for details.
