About Libraries Services

The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) and the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) provides a range of library and information services to our staff and students.

Each LRC is a multimedia learning resources centre that provides an environment conducive to study, research and leisure reading. The library services include resources loans, reference service, photocopying, inter-library library loans and library user education, etc. The library collections of each centre range from 40,000 to 90,000 volumes to meet the needs of the users. Apart from books, journals and audio-visual materials, the LRCs also subscribe to electronic databases to enable students and staff to have access to the latest information worldwide.
